Rapid Prototyping Machine

Design Study

Architects and transportation designers have been experimenting with organic bone like structures for some time now. However, would such a structure also work for industrial production machinery? This study experiments with the application of such structures using the constraints that apply when designing for low volume production machinery. As can be seen in the sketches, organic structures can be used to create a unique design that would suit machines in the additive manufacturing market or even medical/healthcare machinery.
